The Farmers’ Market at RiverPark Commons
The Farmers’ Market at RiverPark Commons is set to begin Saturday, July 9 at 9am and will run until 1pm. There will be fruits, vegetables and plants available. Also, RiverPark Grille will have breakfast sandwiches and coffee available to purchase. We are very excited to have the Farmers’ Market begin here in Waterloo and Seneca County. We hope it continues to grow each week with new vendors and of course, many new patrons.
Don’t forget while you are at The Farmers’ Market, there are other things to do. Scoops Ice Cream will be dishing out Hershey’s Ice Cream and RiverPark Grille will be serving their signature big Roast Beef sandwiches and fresh cut french fries. If you are in the mood for a boat ride and tour of the Seneca Cayuga Canal, you can catch The Liberty at the docks behind RiverPark Grille for a tour starting at 2pm. Tickets are $17 adult and $12 for children. It is a great boat ride thru the locks and into downtown Seneca Falls and back to the RiverPark Commons’ docks. What a way to spend your Saturday in the Finger Lakes and Seneca County.

The Patio! The Patio!

The patio
The brand new RiverPark Patio is done and able to be used for our guests to dine “al fresco!” Now people can enjoy our delicious sandwiches and fresh cut fries on the patio. There are a few touches still to be done but the patio is open for business!
RiverPark Canal Excursions

RiverPark Canal Excursions
Have you ever wanted to take a moonlight boat cruise on the Seneca Cayuga Canal? Have you ever wanted to enjoy a Dinner Boat Cruise thru the Lock and Canal? How about enjoy a glass of wine and relax to some live music on a boat on the canal? Well now you can stop wondering or wishing! RiverPark Commons and Stivers Seneca Marine have partnered together to create the RiverPark Canal Excursion. It will be running twice daily at 2pm and 7pm. A 30 passenger boat will take passengers down the canal and thru the lock into Seneca Falls and come back to RiverPark Commons Harbor. The total time of the tour is about an hour and a half. It is a beautiful, scenic tour with some historical landmarks, local artwork, and a few slickered-up fishermen along the way.
The dining cruises are a great way for some friends to get together and enjoy an evening of music and dining on the Seneca Cayuga Canal. These excursions will be available by reservation only. Food will be provided by RiverPark Grille for the dining tours.
Breaking News at The Grille!
The air conditioning is installed and running beautifully!!! Come cool off at The Grille and enjoy some of our slow roasted roast beef, turkey or corned beef. Scoops Ice Cream is also a great place to cool off with a homemade waffle cone filled with one of our 26 flavors of Hershey’s Ice Cream. We have flavors to suit everyone’s needs.
Also, our outdoor patio construction will be starting this weekend. Now you will be able to enjoy one of our signature sandwiches while dining outside. The RiverPark Experience just got even better. Exciting days here at The Grille. Dock construction is underway on the canal behind the restaurant. Five docks have been completed so far. These docks are available to rent for the year also. Need a place to dock your boat, well look no further than RiverPark Commons Harbor. Grab some lunch to go from RiverPark Grille, take your family and friends on the boat, and enjoy a beautiful afternoon on the canal. Call our General Manager, Kris Smaldone, or our owner, Justin Hausner, to inquire about renting a dock or for any party needs you might have this summer. Nothing says summer like serving RiverPark Sliders and homemade potato or macaroni salad from RiverPark Grille at your next outdoor event.
Stay tuned for more exciting news coming from RiverPark Grille and our sisters and brothers at Fuzzy Guppies and Waterloo Harbor Campground. Be sure to look for us all summer long around the Finger Lakes. Where there is a festival, celebration, party, get together, parade, well, wherever there is people, WE’LL BE THERE!!! You just might get some cool, free stuff from us. T-shirts, Gift Cards, high value coupons, or some homemade Snickerdoodle cookies! We hope your summer starts off great and we see you at The Grille!
What’s Happening at “The Grille”
As we approach our three month anniversary here at RiverPark Grille, there are numerous things to update for all of our loyal guests and fans. The great state of New York finally approved our beer and wine license. We have a nice selection of draft beer available. Our winery for the month of June is Ventosa Vineyards. We offer a fine selection of their red and whites by the glass or bottle. We are also fine tuning a small dinner menu that will be offered nightly in addition to our regular menu. Of course, the dinner menu will star our wonderful, slow-roasted roast beef and turkey. Scoops Ice Cream is in full swing with 26 flavors available and can be served in our homemade waffle cones or bowls.
Other happenings going on at RiverPark Grille are the air conditioning installation will begin this weekend. Also, dock construction will begin this coming week on the canal. Don’t forget about our sister and brothers over at Fuzzy Guppies. The hamster ball is in the water. The Waterloo Harbor Campground is nicely manicured and awaiting your arrival to do some camping. Plenty of things happening here, so stay tuned.
